Art Program for Children

This is a 90 minute program for children of all ages, hosted by Michele Randell.

The Art Program resumes this Summer for both children and adults. The children’s program will begin Tuesday @ 10AM July 20th and runs through August 24. Pre- registration is needed to have appropriate supplies on hand. Classes run approximately 1.5 hours at  $20.00 each. Children will have the opportunity to paint with water mixable oils on canvas boards. The program will be outside the studio in good weather or inside the studio if the weather is inclement. There is no prior experience needed for this program. The 10AM program is based on ages 7-14, younger children can also paint but will need to set up a scheduled time to do so in their age group. Children of all ages are encouraged to be self expressive and are given positive feedback as well as some technical help by the Artist. Parents should bring a box large enough to lay an 11x14 canvas in it for transportation home. Paintings will be dry in about two weeks for hanging or framing!

The Adult private programs in water mixable oils are currently being scheduled. Please call the Studio to set up appointments. Pricing for adult’s is $25.00 an hour. Adult’s should also bring a box big enough to fit an 11x14 canvas in initially, sizes and shapes will change from week to week with adults. Adults will work En Plein Air weather permitting. First appointment is at the studio and then scheduled off site for the summer.

Mantra Chant Class

Our monthly chant program continues with the mantras from A-Khrid Bön Dzogchen Ngondro. This program is open to newcomers, and this program will be led by Vance and Lisa.

Level 3 MASTER CLASS with Himalayan Singing Bowls

This is the legendary and premiere program in the world today. Presented by Mitch Nur, PhD, the foremost authority on this subject, and recognized by Nepalese and Tibetan academics. He is regarded as an ' insider ', and he has taught the therapeutic and transformative nature of these instruments for nearly 4 decades. This class is by invitation only, and is closed to the public.

Harmonic Therapy Practicum pt.1

Gong: Transitional Applications

The use of a gong for Therapeutic, and Transformational utilization goes back thousands of years. Widely used today in sound therapy, yoga, meditation, and harmonic therapy. Learn viable techniques and applications in this afternoon workshop with Mitch Nur. Mitch has nearly 40 Gongs in his personal collection, and he has been a recognized Gong authority for nearly 4 decades. This program is Part 1, in the Harmonic Therapy series, and is intended as a primer for students that want to use Gongs as a therapy tool.
