What is Studio 116

We are foremost a learning center, which offers classes and workshops on ancient spirituality, meditation, sacred sound techniques and applications, shamanic practices, Arts, Music and more.

Studio 116 is also a cultural bridge into Tibetan Couture, and the opportunity to study with visiting Tibetan Lamas, as well as international artists, musicians, and Teachers.

Our retail area is one of the most unique in the entire Delaware Valley. Himalayan antiques and authentic ritual pieces, the very best antique Singing Bowls in the USA. Handmade clothing, Burmese and Himalayan jewelery, Sacred Stones, Tibetan Rugs, Bön, Buddhist, Vedic, Native American.

Art Receptions: Monthy exhibitions and receptions Friday evening, 7pm to 9pm, Art Exhibit opening with live music and refreshments. Exhibited art on view for a minimum of two weeks. Wed thru Fri, 1pm to 5pm, and Saturday 10am to 5pm. 

Contemplation and Adventure

The Studio will host 5 programs with Visiting Tibetan Lamas in 2009. Scheduled teachings with Khenpo Ratsa Geshe Tenzin Dargye Rinpoche will include Ngondro, Phowa, Trul Khor, and the 9ways of Bön ( closed to new students ). Geshe Chongtul Rinpoche will present a teaching in the Fall of the year.

Throughout the year, the studio will feature special events and one of a kind musical programs. These programs will only be offered to small audience's to insure intimate atmosphere and close contact to the artists.
